Is passing going to be unstoppable next season or will it take two seasons before the wild over-correction makes double coverage unable to prevent the 55 yard pass?

Since passing is a complete joke in the current sim, even in one-on-one coverage with no hurry, I wonder how far they will miss the mark in trying to fix it?

Edit:

Also, I suppose the title ought to read "If this isn't Beta, can we still expect wild sim corrections for next season?".

I somewhat agree.. QB decisions ect could be improved but overall its not like we are seeing this huge drop off in offense. Hell looking at WL, around half of the teams are still putting up a solid 30+ per game on average. In the USA conference, all but 3 teams are averaging over 30 points a game..

Its not a complete joke this season... with the right gameplan and builds you should be fine.

Yup. The QB should have released the ball much earlier... once the TE gets that close to the sideline there's nowhere left to lead. Thus giving the CB so much time to get back into position to make a move. IRL, a CB beaten that badly should NEVER be able to recover in time to make a stop like that because the QB and the receiver work together to box the defender out.

Because GLB dots don't have 'faces' or 'arms' or 'shoulders' it makes what should have been really easy IRL (putting the ball where the defender had NO chance to defend it) a flawed calculation of Pass Quality Roll vs. Deflection Roll. In one on one coverage where the receiver is able to box the defender away from the ball, the pass deflection roll should be really hard to make, and the dot coming from that far away with NO possible vector on the ball shouldn't be able to prevent this reception without getting a knocked loose hit.

Not ready to leave beta.

shit I'm just surprised he didn't pass up 3 single covered targets till he got hurried and then forced it into triple coverage

Quicker passes to open receivers will fix most of what's wrong with the passing game.

edit:
The other thing they need to do is change the "!" blitz read from activating whenever any non-DL rushes to when the QB recognizes that at least 5 defenders are coming.
