So, I just looked at the 4 Pro leagues and it looks like there could possibly be about 6 teams that could finish the regular season with a winning record and still get demoted.

while your point is valid, the W/L record isn't necessarily indicative of the caliber of teams. For example, my team in Africa conference from SAPL, which is fighting for the 8th seed just upset the lone undefeated team in our conference. That's not to say we are great or anything but I think it speaks to the level of competition in Pro this season.

no, it only shows that top pro teams still have no care and the sim is total random

It's not your grandma's Pro league. Gone are the days when all you needed was the most Dots at higher levels to win. The off days playing a CPU team or teams full of aged dots are in the past. Used to be if the next team on the schedule had a 4-8 record you knew it was an off day and expected your offense to put out 100 points, but that's no longer true.

There are still a number of crappy teams in pro that dont deserve to be there filled with CPU's. Maybe next season fixes it, but looking at the regional pro leagues as they are right now some are pretty awful, even in elite. They probably win 1 game in pro next season. Pro will be completely unbalanced again next season.
