In GLB would be constituted as a Shutdown CB? What kind of target to reception ratio would you need?

You can't look at the target to reception ratio. Targets/receptions allowed are not accurate depictions of a dot's skill or coverage abilities. The scenarios for the stat being assigned to a particular defender could use some work.

You really just have to watch replays to see how a dot performs in coverage. Any good DC will do some scouting when recruiting a dot.

Rec Allowed stat is pretty weird too. Never is accurate.

PDs to targets ratio is probably your best guide for m2m defenders, but all stats are somewat dubious as noted above.

something like this but also depends on your slot and how the DC uses him (they would know best given their scheme setup). that and every sim is diff.

Pretty much all CBs are shutdown CBs atm...

Shutdown? If all stats were from M2M, against legit competition...I would think 2 to 1 would be pretty good.

Who even needs CBs this season, just blitz a safety from 20 yards away and watch the QB throw it into the dirt or 20 yards out of bounds

When you have more picks than receptions allowed, you just may be a Shutdown Corner.

Lol I was looking at a dot today that had 5 targets and 6 receps allowed
