Africa
Somalia Pirates (6-0) - 41 minutes TOP and almost 500 yards of offense. Easy win.

Cult (6-0) - Jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st Q but by the end of the 3rd Q the game was tied up at 20. Big def play forced a fumble late in the game that led to the Cults game winning TD.

Mayan Warriors (5-1) - Can't say either team did anything wrong in the Mayan/TAP game. Warriors just fell short. Ran tthe ball well. Maybe could have seen better performance out of Manning but overall it was a solid game from both teams.

Rocky Mountain (4-2) - Not a great performance from the O. 1 QB completed less than 20% of his passes. The other throwing 2 picks. D got some decent pressure but RMT fell behind big in the first half.

TAP (4-2) - Great win for TAP that they needed to stay above .500. Offense played well and had the ball for 13 minutes longer than Mayan. Some explosive plays turned into TDs. Solid all around effort and now the schedule eases slightly.

Windhoek (4-2) - Big win for the Rhinos as the O did a great job moving the ball. D was stellar against the run although they did give up almost 400 yards through the air. Next up is a struggling Sahara squad that almost shocked the Cult. Not to be taken lightly at all.

Republic (3-3) - Benin held a small lead against WWR but failed to stop them in the final minutes of the game to lose by 1 point.

ICB (3-3) - Back and forth battle against SD for the first half but the O disappeared in the 2nd half. D did a solid job holding the Bats to 7 FGs and only 1 TD to try and keep them in the game. ICB has now dropped 3 straight and need to get things turned around.

Black STEEL Surge (3-3) - Tough loss for BSS as the O struggled to get much going on the ground while the passing game finished with a mere 45% completion rating.

Rwanda (3-3) - Came out swinging in the 1st Q with QB Henshin tossing for 3 TDs but the O sputtered after that. Either way they put up enough points early on to hold off SHP and secure a 3 point win.

Spring Hill (2-4) - D put them behind early and the O just couldn't get enough done to comeback from it.

Sahara (1-5) - An early turnover led to a FG for Cult and a late turnover led to a TD. Easy to say that turnovers could have cost Sahara a much needed win.

LEGIONs VBA (2-4) - VBA gets their second win of the season but will the celebration be cut short by Cult next week.

AquaBats (2-4) - Decent win over the Breakers thanks in no small part to HB Atomic for picking up some yardage on only 16 carries.

Uganda (1-5) - First W of the season for Uganda and it wasn't pretty. Neither team made it in the endzone once in a game that stretched into OT with Uganda finally putting an end to it with a FG.

Philly (1-5) - Just an ugly game from both offenses.

Week 7 Picks
BSS vs RMT
Neither team has had it really rough so far but the latest BSS loss leaves me doubting them a little here.

RRK vs Philly
Philly just hasn't done anything this season.

Uganda vs TAP
The Silverbacks are coming off their first win but it wasn't a pretty one. This may be an ugly loss.

Somalia vs SD
Pirates making it look easy so can't pick against them.

WWR vs Sahara
Sahara really stepped it up last week. Plus, Steve likes it when I pick against Rhinos.

Mayan vs Benin
Looking forward to this game. Benin's had 2 close losses and I think they find a way to close this one out.

Cult vs VBA
Like Somalia, Cult just makes it look effortless against lower ranked teams.

SHP vs ICB
Tough one again and some day I'll get the Pirates pick right. Tim better hope I get it right this week though.

Out did yourself again e. Great read and I agree with Steve. We seem to do better when you pick against us. Almost a scene of over confidence when we get the pick and extra motivation when we don't. Here is to hoping the system continues to work for WWR against a struggling, but dangerous Sahara team

Tusk is on a small hiatus while I get shit in order after sandy pimp slapped my yard. Got a 35-40 ft section of a tree resting on our power and cable lines. Needless to say my internets been out since Monday and cell service has been spotty. On the bright side, the tree came very close to renovating our kitchen for us. The trunk landed a foot away from the house and luckily only a few smaller branches came in contact and did no damage. Now we just have to wait for utility company to get this tree of our lines before they snaps. 3 days and counting.

Good Luck e. We escaped with about 30 hours of rains and gusts of winds up to 45MPH or so, but none to bad.

Take your time and we will be anixiously awaiting the return of the Tusk
