So...Hurricane Sandy is supposed to make landfall exactly where I live. If I die, I just want you all to know that I love almost none of you, except for some random TTers. Those TTers know who they are.

You could try to surf in the 2-3 hours when the ocean isnt flat but isnt a torrent

Also, a huge Nor'easter (which is currently over where I am and gaining strength) will collide with Hurricane Sandy on the East coast. A meteorologist here likened it to the scenario before the 1991 "Perfect Storm"

That was kind of the whole point of the frankenstorm.

So far 22 dead in the Caribbean but its become a category 1 hurricane.

The Caribbean is to hurricanes what Trailer Parks are to tornadoes.
