So, the left end on this last play of the game...has been pancaked 20 times since the start of the game.

He's not tired, he's not sad...lets assume that at most he has 48 confidence.

Is this the way it's suppose to work?

err, it's a private game. But, how many times does a defensive player need to be pancaked before his moral drops critically low?

Did the D player also have some good plays? Was his team winning? Good plays boost morale just like bad plays reduce morale, and team performance also impacts morale.

You never know if he invested in Never Give Up, either. 15 of that VA cuts the morale loss by 75%.

For every time he gets pancaked and loses morale he gets a morale boost for: breaking a block, making a tackle, causing a fumble, getting a sack, getting a hurry... I think just being occupied in a block doesn't have much of an impact.

Figure most of the time he's probably a bit in the positive when he breaks a block to pursue the play on the opposite side of the field (resulting in a broken block and no subsequent engagement).

It should be MoraLOL. But that's tough to say.

i've seen d-line get pummeled the entire game and never get tired or sad, one of the reasons that i stopped making o-line.
