Day 44 update here is the format 1 Komodo Dragon 16-0-0- 53 players on the roster - 1341 EL - 43 chemistry - In all honesty from 3 to 13 can be all over the place and this is how it should be accept for one team already disbanding. Did they fear the competition?
1 Komodo Dragon 16-0-0- 53 - 1341 - 43 - This mighty DS team thought they were going to cruise to a 20-0 season and go back to WL where they feel they belong but a group of guys at GCV caught them off guard and left them behind in pro. They are once again the team to beat which will not be a easy task. It looks to me that the team must have moved up some dots to a DS WL team so that might help teams have a chance with early chemistry advantage but DS always seams to have more quality dots to move up. come playoffs they will be strong
:2 Chico High Panthers 14-2-0 - 553 - 1354 - 100 - This team is a top team and one of the best defenses I have seen in OPL. They bring back all 55 dots they had last season and will be a powerhouse right out of the gate. You better bring your A game if you want to hang with this team.
3 Sumatra Seahawks 12-4-0 - 51 - 1324 - 85 - The REAL smutra team. This team never wins the EL trophy but always is a top contender and that will not change. This will be a legit contender come playoffs.
4 Barossa Grapestompers 15-1-0 - 54 - 1298 - 84 - This team really played above and beyond what I thought they would. I was impressed at the run they put together. I think they have a legit shot at being a top contender.
5 Christchurch Fighting Maori 12-4-0 - 55 - 1340 - 68 - Better have your run defense ready if you play this team. They are pretty much a pure run team and are good at it. Maybe its just me but what fun is that?
6 Black Hand Goal Line Mafia 11-5-0 - 52 - 1307 - 66 - Of course I am going to put my team up among the top. Duh! Used to be a top team in OPL but lately it seams either they dropped off or OPL got much tougher. To early to tell if they will be the mafia of old days or the team that was 1st round exit in playoffs last 2 seasons.
7 NY-CA Ground Pounders 13-3-0 - 52 - 1249 - 96 - This is a legit team that will hit plateau day 1. They also start out with perfect chemistry by day 1 so they will be ready to rumble right out the gate. They should put up a good fight and it is yet to be seen just where they stand.
8 San Diego Supa Chargers 10-6-0 - 55 - 1230 - 97 - Pretty sure they were in OPL a while back? This team will also start out day 1 with 100 chemistry and just entering plateau. This team could be dangerous.
9 Java Brewers 13-3-0 - 49 - 1325 - 79- Another team that did better than I thought they would. I am still not convinced of this team being a true contender. Its hard for me to decide where to put them.
10 Tampa Bay Scorpions 15-1-0 - 55 - 1258 - 84 - Young team with a lot of boosts coming day 1 but I do not see this team making playoffs but I have been wrong before
. 11 Sumatran Striped Rabbits 13-3-0 - 49 - 1259 - 95- Another young team that should have pretty good chemistry right out the gate. We won;t really know what these new teams will bring to the table until they hit plateau. This is a team that could very well be about 5 spots higher or lower
12 Stockholm Black Death 12-4-0 - 55 - 1286 - 98 - They have always been a legit contender and will put up a solid effort each week.. They have as much of a shot as any of the middle teams and could be 5 spots higher
13 Texas Aztecs 10-6-0 - 55 - 1340 - 79 - Another team that did better than I expected and could once again make me look like I have no clue what I am talking about. They could be a playoff contender but who knows at this point.
14 Razorback Nation 8-8-0 - 52 - 1298 - 68 - Jrrock always finds a way to prove me wrong when I count his team out. He must thrive on proving me wrong or maybe he just knows what he is doing.
Regardless I think I am safe to count his team out this time I think there will be to much for them to overcome.15 Outlaw Midgets 8-8-0 - 55 - 1278 - 75 - They were able to make playoffs and remain in pro but it won't happen this season. Just to much high end teams for them to make playoffs.
16 STEEL Voodoo 12-4-0 - 38 - 1366 - 79 - Thats too bad, looks like this team is done. All builds open and looking for new homes. Hope support will bring in a team so we have competitive team in its place.
