well, most dots used to get sucked inside no matter what, so maybe it fixes that at the very least. We'll see though if it only affects outside the tackles then thats a good thing. If you want the LB to shoot the gap, blitz him that way

Can we run a pump fake test with 10 pump fake and all the perks against a defense prone to pump fake and see how often it fires? I have a feeling we won't see many

and then do a separate test with 10 lookoff for comparison

Im fine with the pump fake not working vs man coverage but i think it was fine vs zone coverage. I agree that we probably won't see pump fake much now.

Whew, glad I made a scrambling QB.
Know a few agents that have investing 10+ in pump fake and I wonder how good that will look, not to mention the buff to blitzing....... more hurries, yeaaa!!!

rather than everyone overreacting by catch giving us "heads up" on prospective sim changes that will still change 4 more times before Live - ppl should watch the test server games and provide tangible commentary.

the problem is though every other type of pass is horrible (ignoring HB/FB coverage). while you need some sim tweaks to discourage deep passing 3 times a series, simply nerfing deep passing is taking the entire O back 3+ seasons.

there is a middle ground somewhere.

need to restore some YAC, basically. whether that's a DvG change or just a general buff in the O VA or the roll in general.

Anyone who paid attention last season could already notice the late season tilt towards short passing and run heavy offenses.. This is just further pushing us down that road

the outside run game was sim-broken. im good with the yards but not how they were coming on D.

WL doesn't really shift tendencies till ppl start having to play for their lives.
