Twice in one day. You guys are lucky. Have a great weekend.

Lion
Axis (14-0) - Cutting things close now. 2 solid teams left to play. Can one of them knock off Axis before the playoffs?

Windhoek (12-2) - Rhinos decimated Austin and look to be on course for a 14-2 finish and locking up the 2 seed.

Sahara (12-2) - Sahara drops a rough one to the Cult as they got outscored 9-38 through just 3 quarters. 13-3 finish is my guess here.

TAP (12-2) - TAP had to play catch-up in the 4th Q in a game that was too close for comfort but they managed to squeeze out a 5 point win over the Joes.

Uganda (10-4) - After ending the 1st Q tied up at 3 the Silverbacks gave up 38 unanswered points. Too much to come back from and at this point Uganda could finish 10-6.

Cult (10-4) - Big win for the Cult as they piled on almost 650 yards of offense. They can now relax in knowing they won't be a part of the 8-8 nightmares developing below. Next weeks game against Uganda should decide the 5 seed.

Austin (7-7) - Austin looked like a lock for the 7 or 8 seed a few games ago but now, with CWE looking like they remember where the AIs were and Cult picking up steam, this squad is in jeopardy of finishing 7-9. Need to step it up and a 9-7 finish is a must to avoid losing out on some sheisty tiebreakers.

RnR (7-7) - Tough loss but they get a break next week to go into week 16 8-7. Week 16 against the Yaks could decide the 8 seed.

Yaksmen (7-7) - This game hasn't simmed as of this writing but I'll give the Yaks the benefit of the doubt. Next week is another breeze and, like Austin, this team needs that week 16 win to lock up a playoff spot and avoid 8-8 as best as possible.

CWE (6-8) - With their backs against the wall the Elephants had to have a win. They got it in spades as they picked Uganda apart for 2 quarters to get a lead that would be insurmountable. Still a shot at an 8-8 finish.

Average Joe's (7-7) - The Joes outplayed TAP in every way but going +2 in the turnover margin is not going to help you win games. With Texas and the Rhinos left I'm going to pencil this squad in at 8-8.

Boston (4-10)
Texas (2-12)
-Cult- (2-12)
Free-Lancer Army (1-13)
Pottsville (0-14)

Elephant
BSS (14-0) - No one left to care about.

Republic (11-3) - Benin was tearing through top notch teams but this time they were outplayed in one quarter of the game and that proved to be the deciding points. Tough loss and next they get a Bats squad that has failed to make an impression against top tier teams and a team fighting for the 8 seed. Win out and the 2 seed is locked up.

Philly (10-4) - Philly fell behind 6-20 in the 1st half but came back strong in the second half to escape with a 4 point win over the Bats. Worst case finish is 11-5.

Spring Hill (10-4) - Week 16 could turn into a trap game with the Voodoo fighting for that last playoff spot.

ICB (10-4) - Say one thing for ICB, they know how to turn it on when it matters. In a close game against Benin, the Breakers managed to outscore them 17-0 in the 2nd Q. Next week is a bye and then the Bats host them. ICB should finish up 11-5 at worst but I'm guessing a 12-4 finish is in the works.

Rwanda (9-5) - What is up with the Knights this season? That's all I want to know. 11-5 finish either way with Vol & Word left.

AquaBats (10-4) - Bats have played some top teams very close but can't break their 3 game losing streak. 2 tough teams left and at this rate the Bats could go 10-6.

Steiner (9-5) - Steiners are not going down without a fight but the schedule is not very friendly with 2 of the top 3 teams left. They may have to win both to stay in the race. Tough road ahead.

Voodoo (8-6) - Trying to lock up the 8 seed and a win over Asmara next week could seal it up but they still have Steiner hot on their heels. Basically have to beat either Asmara or Spring Hill to get in. Voodoos track record against playoff teams hasn't been great but Asmara hasn't looked so hot this season so that's their best shot to get in.

Asmara (6-8) - Where have you guys been? Seriously. Even if Asmara wins out they still lose now. Steiner will finish ahead of them regardless.

OffTopica (5-9)
Vol Nation (4-10)
SoA (2-12)
Kenosha (1-13)
Kirkland (2-12)
The South Rangers (0-14)

Great read. CWE just got the engines firing way too late.

APL playoffs is going to be a great show from top to bottom

With Sahara's loss today and another loss coming to Axis, TAP and the Rhinos will end up 14-2. That would give TAP the #2 seed in the head to head tiebreaker

I'm not already counting our last 2 as victories. Sahara has beaten us down before and LL is always capable of pulling something out of his hat. I'll gladly take 1 of 2 to get the 1 seed.

I think we are just now recovering from the concussion sustained when BSS beat us into the ground back in week 3.

Still a battle for the last 2 spots in Lion. It looks like at least 3 teams will be 8-8 and go to the tie breakers
