What about lead passing on drag routes. I know you know what I mean.

i think the over cover issue with the defense is a big issue and something that imho should be looked at first, but im glad something is being done and that more stuff will be done

Yes, I just hate the LB coverage logic in general. I would really like to see that fixed up because no matter how good of a LB i have he still seems to get beat easily allowing multiple catches.

As long as they move in the right direction for coverage tweaks ect i will be fine

It's builds. Oh there could be other issues that contribute, but it's mostly build. On my team I have one outstanding coverage LB who doesn't have the issues covering. The other's do have issues and their builds are not near his in agility and vision.

So what build problem make DB not try to cover receiver as he was told?
If receiver use speed ran over DB, it's build.
If receiver fake DB and make separation, it's build.
But DB just keep ridiculous cushion and just watch receiver catch the ball, it's not build, it's bad sim code.
Every dot should try to do his work fine, like cover receiver as close as possible, attack the ball, try to tackle ball carrier.
Now the sim, DB keep ridiculous cushion, and you tell me that build problem?
Remember S28 people complain about inside running game and some said that build problem?
How can you tell that?

If it's bad SIM code, why doesn't it happen every time with every DB?

I can only tell you what I see in comparison of the builds on my team. I have an assortment from average to probably the best in the game. At least I've not seen another CB with over 1500 SP.

Please! My receiving FBs and HBs have so many issues with KLs! I stopped passing to them out of many formations because they always got hit and dropped the ball. Lots of carrying, catching, jumping, and break tackle skills, but can't hold on to the ball.

It only seems to happen on certain routes TBH, and it does happen to every DB.

Watch Hannibal L. He sticks like glue. You don't see him move off and give a bigger cushion.

I rarely see a CB give a big cushion, usually only see that with the LOLB covering the TE and/or backs on the strong side and it's that position I based my comments about builds on. I had two games in a row where the TE and/or HB were getting open due to a big cushion, so I watched all the plays to see if there was a clue as to what was wrong. I had already verified the tactics were all the same and what's sticks out at me. The plays I was getting burned on over and over were stopped twice. Same LB was in play those two plays. His agility and vision were much higher than the other two coverage LBs.

um .. just cuz it doesn't happen every time doesn't mean there isn't a bug. (my theory it's something to do with the lead passing and intercept point calculation)

Now watch CB, Naw See on those same replays. I guarantee you if the ball goes to the TE, he never breaks to the ball. Find the same plays in which the ball goes to the TE. CB won't break on the ball, will just stand there and let the TE catch it all game long, no matter what the build.

You're not going to like this EE but...

Bort said it's not a bug and he can defend it. Still working on a few things though so I haven't had time to post his explanation in the bug thread. Will do so within the next 3-5 days.
