Can someone explain how SAs are penalized. I have a possessive and thought about still putting some points into first step later down the road. Would it be beneficial at all?

GLB has not and will not release on what the penalties actually are for the penalized SAs. Catch22 has said that they are substantial, but that still leaves it wide open for interpretation. Personally, I would not mess with First Step on a true possession WR as the Route Run SA would be more effective and efficient.

Bort has said that the penalty is significant but a good SA is a good SA & will still work.
