Hi, I'm trying my hand at OC for the first time and am confused about the playbook setting in the general settings.

If I pick 100% Basic Playbook, the system will pick from all of the plays that I have active, correct?

Let's say I pick 100% shotgun playbook. Will all of my offensive plays be from the shotgun formation, but picking still from (shotgun) plays that I have active when I go in to edit the playbook, even if I leave some plays active that are not shotgun?


Just confused how Basic Presets, Offensive Playbook and Offensive AI work together.

if you are referring to using the basic tactics, than yes if you assign 100% shotgun, in theory it should only call that. but with basic sometimes the computer will call whatever it wants.

your best bet, although more time consuming, is to actually learn the advanced AI. It allows for much more control.

there are also pre-set AIs with plays already attached and you just have to delete plays you don't want.

So then if under playbook I have an active playbook, but I also have an active default AI, which one is active?

Your AI can only call plays from the active playbook.
