Excuse me for having been under a rock during the latest GLB apocalyptic remodel. So, apparently slowbuilding is history, and you basically boost the crap out of your rookies any chance you get, 'cause now it's more of a drag race, than a NASCAR 500 miler.

Any reason to not boost my rookies another three times before, or at season start, rather than wait until possible playoff time, or any other time?

It is said to boost three times during Day 40 for training purposes, but I do not know how true that is.

Boost Day 48 of each season til you hit lvl 52 for max training gains.

I think he's talking about boosting from level 4 to level 7.

So, there's still a bit of the slowbuild influence around.

somewhat. Pretty much the way to build now if you want to get those skills high enough imo

Ehr... Why do you say slowbuilding is history? We still slowbuild. The only difference is that (finally) people understood that circle-capping is the way to max efficiency, but we still slow build just like in the old days.

wrong

boost from 22 to 25 to maximize VA's

boosting to max VA's since you are going to hit level 79 as long as you don't miss out on boosts

also boosting to hit caps at a certain time is also a good idea

I guess it depends on your definition of circle capping

in the old days, people would take all their attributes to the 1st cap before moving any towards the 2nd cap - that is bad

if you mean when an attribute hits late 30's you cap it so your training is at 49+ for that attribute then ok, but you still take your primary attribute as high as you plan before spending a lot of SP in your other attributes

This. Maximizing VAs is more important because you'll hit level 79 as long as you boost each season.

A couple of points in VAs doesn't mean a whole lot, so it's not a big deal if you'd rather keep training than boost early. Just depends on the situation and if a little more training means a lot for hitting your targets.

I felt that way too until I realized you're only NOT boosting until end of season just that one time... therefore you're only missing out on max training gains just once and the 2 extra VA's you get are worth more than the small loss you'll receive missing just that one boost schedule.
