I'm not sure of the exact terminology, but if a defender gets within certain range of the QB he lobs bad pass after bad pass. Does the sim share the same penalty for kickers and punters?

The block kick roll is INCREDIBLY hard to pass, even if you're in the right position. However, it is essentially the same roll as pass deflection, without any VA's and SA's other than swat ball.
Its just a block roll for FG/XPs, and not like a pressure situation like a Bad Pass.
(Kicker can feel situational pressure, in clutch situations especially)

so its all or nothing.....get to point x for a block or stay home cause it has no effect? or game winning FG can be effected if X amount of pressure is in place?

getting to point X is also meaningless. plenty of examples of the defender practically tackling the holder and the kick being good. basically, there's no correlation between on field and actual performance when it comes to kicks. which is really sad.
Essentially these answers were my point. The sim changes have destroyed the passing game at levels under WL, but have allowed the kicking game to remain undaunted.
In other words if you build a good kicker he will make field goals. If you build a good QB he will throw bad passes.

If you're trying to draw comparisons with the kicking game...urdoinitwrong
The kicking game in GLB is obviously simplistic, but trying to think that it should draw complexity similarities to the passing game is silly. Seems pretty clear you were just making this thread to make a thread and hear your voice in regards to the currently large quantity of bad passes.
