Hey guys was hoping you could help me out. Everytime I try to link a specific play, it just goes to the first play of the game. I've seen this before but can't remember how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

if you are watching in flash, click the scissors icon in the top right corner of the replay.

Javascript should change the address each time you change the play unless you are using replay rewrite. in that case you need to use the copy button on there. I haven't used it in a long time so i don't remember specifically what you need to click, but someone will likely be along to tell you but the link should generally be on the screen someplace for you to click into your clipboard for pasting.

Thanks. Never tried it that way. Used to just be able to highlight the link in the browser window.

For flash, if you go to a specific play, you can highlight the address and copy/paste it. However if you move to a new play it will not change the address bar and will remain the same. I realize you understand this now, but i'll just give you an example

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2058965&pbp_id=10813705 (in flash) is a copy from the address bar. If you click the next play button, the address bar is still the same. It loads the next play within the flash player "box" but remains at the same address. Thats why they have the copy button at the top.

Replay rewrite works somewhat the same (i realize not really but for outward appearences it's similar) where the address bar stays the same but the plays are changed within that page rather than the default method which the next/prev play buttons go to a new page with a new address for the new replay.

You may have been going to specific replays in the past and then grabbing the address link. That works fine, it's when you start using the replay navigation that you need to use the copy buttons provided.

The "Share This Play" text above the Facebook/Twitter icons gets changed to a link to the current play when you change plays under RR.
