S28 was my first season back in a little while, and I wasn't sure if that was still done. My QB was lucky enough to win MVP in a ghost town league but hasn't been awarded anything yet:

The top 5 finishers of the MVP race get a chance to win the equipment. It's a weighted lottery- the better you finished the better chance you get to win the gear. If you want to know who won, try to find the league you were in this season and look at the league endorsements at the bottom.
