Hi there, I'm relatively new, have a possession WR that is a free agent and I'm wondering if there's an advantage to having him play a one-year contract for a CPU-controlled team. Is there any benefit to doing this? More playing time? Better stats that might get him signed with a better team the following year? Or is it kind of a dead-end -- once you are on a CPU team you tend to be stuck there?

Sorry if these are dumb questions.

cpu team should be a last resort. Your WR will get killed against good teams. Should try and find a human owned team. If you do sign with a cpu team, you can always be signed by a human team. CPU teams are kind of like a "holding team". If you cant find a team right away, sign with a cpu team. A human team can still offer you a contract even if youre already on a cpu team.
