If it's possible to cut this season, is it better to do it now or wait until the beginning of next season? My main concern is the chemistry hit.

cutting before rollover is -1

cutting in the pre-season is -3 I believe

cutting earlier is always better

So cutting right now would be -1 then? Better to do it now then.

The main thing to consider is to get all your moves done at the same time and as quickly as possible (tomorrow would be best)

The reason for this is that if your chemistry drops below 70 you will gain it back faster to that point.

So if you are cutting/signing 50 chemistry points worth of players, you are better off doing it all in one day. Rather than spreading it out and taking longer to get below 70 chemistry and having to recover the points 1 point at a time.

But yes cuts/signings should be just 1 point changes. If you know all the changes you are going to make get them all done today or tomorrow. and get all your new players signed at the same time if possible.
