might get a bad snap and shoot the ball over the punters head or make it hard to kick a field goal.you would think the center has something designed to make him snap the ball better than any other spot since hes created for that purpose. not saying i know, but i would think it would hurt.

Question: If a long snapper is not a center, is there an OOP? And on kick and punt returns, does vision help the blockers find players to block?
Answer: No OOP and yes vision does help find players to block.

Question: Is there an Out of position penalty for a position besides center playing at long snapper?
Answer: No.

There may have been a more recent post changing the answer but thats the latest from the Q&A's.

I believe he later clarified

No OOP if not a center BUT still at least an O-Line player

Don't believe either of those scenarios have ever happened in GLB...

Yep that was my question. I was pissed because later they said there was an OOP. D-line seems OK too I think.

I am not sure about that

but this (and the fact that OL ST players are 100 FP) is why we always have at least 1 OL ST guy

Only blocked FG I've seen was when someone put a D-lineman at LS. The CB shot by him and blocked the kick. Just sayin.
