On paper these two teams are pretty evenly matched in terms of the numbers they have logged in the stat column. 4th and 6th in total offense. 4th and 5th in total defense. 4th and 6th in rush defense. 4th and 5th in points allowed over the course of the season. During the regular season Cincinnati simply over-whelmed the Canes with a dominate run game the averaged 9 yards per carry. Maine was forced to play from behind early and put up over 400 yards of offense on what has been a typically tough defense for most team. The Superfreaks has the better built team and their bend but don't break style of defense suits their run game well and will limit scoring opportunities for the Hurricanes.

These two teams know each other very well being a part of LE's NBNC league. The mirror each other in production and both have taken advantage of lessons learned from previous games played against each other to gain wins. This one is simply too close to call.
