I'm going to start a HB next season and im doing some planning.

What are some of the targets i should be looking at for end build.

Speed: 106+58 equip = 164
Agility: 92
Carrying: 81
Stamina: 52
Vision:64
Strength: 48

I'd cut back speed some to get carrying to 90ish. Even with 160 speed you're going to want 60+ stamina as well. and most people would like to see strength to at least 60. Is this just an elusive back? Or a scat back?

You should be able to get these higher.

STR and AGI are fine, but you want (MINIMUM) :
Carrying to 88+
Stamina 61+
Strength 65+

Vision is fine, could even be a few lower if need be.

I was going for Elusive only build. so Catching would be minimal.

What about SA's I was thinking

5-5-5-5-5 which will cost 48SP

Then 2 AEQ in First Step and Spin which when fully upgraded will be

5-5-11-5-11

No AEQ in First Step.
No real point to First Step SA at all on an Elusive since the handoff is scripted and doesn't allow first step to fire, only time it'd come in handy is in running routes or after catching the ball if your dot stops.
I'm assuming you aren't building a scat back based on what you've said, so you'll find First sep nearly useless.
If you have to choose an SA for 2 AEQ's, then choose Juke.

Spin will only be marginally useful with 48 strength, like all of the other guys are saying, get it into the mid 60's or higher to really make Spin more useful to you.

You really want to maximize Spin, Juke, Quick Cut, an Head Fake in that order for elusive Sa's.

fwiw ive seen guys with 50 strength do reasonably well spinning. Not that I would condone 50 strength on a pure elusive, non receiving build tho.

I would also place pretty much every SA on both tree's and surge higher in usefulness than Quick Cut except First Step.

I have come to terms that builds have advanced beyond Quick Cut.

With your experience, how high do you need power thru to be on an elusive to fire consistently?

You can spin just fine with less than 60 strength. You definitely want more though

I prefer less extreme numbers on Speed, so I can back fill with high Carrying/Strength. I rarely take it above 96 natural end build.
