The Nocturnal Nightmare Emission Season 1, Vol. 1
Nightmares Set To Make Home Debut Against Struggling Lions

Merely 48 hours after stunning the world of professional football with a shocking victory statement over the previously undefeated Calgary Stampede, the 3-3 Nigerian Nightmares will make their much anticipated home debut in front of more then 8000 ferociously hungry and rabid fans that will be waiting for their team to debut. Despite the fact that they play in the Canadian Professional League, the Nightmares have been granted to be able to play in front of Christian Okoye’s home country.

The team the Nightmares will go up against will be the much maligned and struggling 0-6 Kitchener Lions. The Lions have a good assortment of physical talent on their team, but their play on the field does not match up to the expectations for the team. Despite still being less then a week old, the Nightmares should have no problem beating the Lions.

Today in practice the Nightmares looked extremely professional and extremely talented. With even more acquisitions bolstering the team both at depth and as starters, this team looks to be shaping up to be one of the best in the world. Despite looking intense and poised on the field, this group of personalities blended together extremely well off the field and during slow times at practice. One reporter even got close enough to a group of offensive skill players to listen in to a spirited discussion about which starting QB’s in the league they’d rather kiss. No words yet on T.O.’s comments. Or complaints. Or suicide notes.

The first ever home-coming for the Nightmares will be a special event, with fans getting discounts on food, alcoholic beverages, and team merchandise. Also taking place during half-time of the game, Christian Okoye’s will be the first member into the Nigerian Nightmares’ Ring of Honor and his honorary Nightmares jersey will be retired. This is sure to be more then enough motivation to make Okoye proud of his football team and should prove to light a spark under the Nightmares’ ass that may otherwise be stagnant.

~ Players To Watch ~

Quarterback - Jeff Garcia (Level 4)
Half Back - Lord Shme (Level 4)
Defensive End - Rijo Pepa (Level 5)
Defensive Tackle - Quarterback McMurderDeathKill (Level 4)
Half Back - Reginald Bush (Level 4)

~ Prediction ~

In the end I expect the Nightmares to run away with this one. They’re just too talented and the Lions are in a hole they can’t climb out of. I expect QB Jeff Garcia and HB Lord Shme to put up big numbers against a sub-par Defense. I also expect the Defensive Line of the Nightmares, particularly DE’s Lord Shme and Rijo Pepa and DT Quarterback McMurderDeathKill to play much better then their debut counterparts did. I expect nothing less than a blowout from this surging Nigerian Nightmares team.

Nigerian Nightmares (3-3) ~ 34
Kitchener Lions (0-6) ~ 3
