Pretty sure the way it's coded, it's negative morale for return of <x distance and a fair catch is probably being seen as a return of 0 yards thus the negative morale. It's working as intended right now (because you could technically say that a returner is somewhat demoralized that he is unable to return the ball) but if there was a suggestion that received enough support, we would probably reconsider that position.

Same questions as above but with morale. Plus, can your morale be higher then 100% in a game (like with those promotions and home entertaining and stuff). Does the effect improve your attributes because they are over 100% or are they capped at 100%

To clarify, does a 10% energy reduction reduce strength/speed/agility/jumping by 5% and everything else by 2% for instance? What is the effect of a 10% energy reduction even? Is it linear or exponential as in does 10% reduction only reduce everything by 1% but 20% reduces everything by 3% and 30% reduces everything by 7%?

All attributes (with the exception of confidence and stamina) are impacted by lowered energy equally. It's a flat percentage reduction. Same goes with morale. Actual values will not be provided.

Your morale can not be higher than 100 but you can have a "reserve" from promotions etc that will prolong your morale decrease.

I understand this type of thing has been requested before, but I was wondering if there was any possibility of it happening in the near future given we are so close to moving out of beta and having a relatively stable sim.

You'd essentially have to make 4 different sims to accomplish that. Fairly positive that's NGTH. We work with the end game as our primary focus but we do try and make adjustments as needed at lower levels to make the games a bit better than they would be without said adjustments.

Bort, do you feel the current bonuses delivered by VA's in general are at appropriate levels. The last time certain VA's received % adjustments for the attribute VA's was prior to ALG's. Is it possible that they may need readjusting. All attributes are getting higher and higher, would it make sense to raise the requirement level now that ALG's and training enhancements, and multi training bring these attributes up? Is this something you have considered or is it set in stone, working as intended?

Back in the early seasons 3-8 or so eveyone packed on speed and neglected agility, so you boosted agility, you also told us jumping was important so people boosted that. Do you feel there are pretty worthless attributes that top skill heavy dots can overcome regardless of how low they are?

Sorry gbo but this is a suggestion and as such will not be answered.

First of all, is something like this truly NGTH, not in a million-billion years? If so, why not? What are the major concerns for the development staff (Bort?) about trying "instant" leagues?

You'll need to contact Support for any issues you have with locked threads.

is there any consideration of more dev involvement in forum threads such as this:

I am sure the user base would like to know firsthand what thoughts may still be going into the game. Any chance of the game developer openly discussing his plans with us the customers?

Bort has too much to work on to spend time in the forums reading and answering questions constantly. This is why we have the Q & A's so users can ask questions for Bort and get a response. If you want to know what his plans/goals/visions are for the game, then just ask it in a Q & A and I will get his input.

What is the logic behind decreasing dots morale and performance when the team is already struggling?

Do you think a team that is 0-6 is feeling good about themselves? It's meant to reflect their morale at the given point and time of the season based on the teams results.

Impact of strength in the BB roll.

http://www.glbwiki.com/qa/search.php

Bull Rusher: Bort, can you clarify what Bull Rusher is saying? Is that a % bonus to Strength or simply that the equation to break a block is altered.

Answer Equation to break a block is altered. Strength's importance becomes higher. So if you had great strength but not so hot agility, you could use the VA to enhance block breaking to focus on your strength and get a better roll.

bhall was correct. If the player is in the endzone, the VA will activate.

There are Q&A quotes in the WIKI that make you believe the answer is yes. However, I seen reports for well established agenst that clearly remember Bort saying the opposite.

2) If the answer for (1) is No. Is there any effort to clean the WIKI from wrong information ?

1) A -0.5 yard loss on a run play doesn't not generate the full adjustment of AA. (despite no clue for that in Bort's answers)
2) Auto adjust cannot send a play to 0%, even when a play at 1% get adjusted down by -15%. (this is unlikely since it will make the event reported to be very rare).
3) A bug in the play calling mechanism.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4886064

Which is the case ? or is their option #4 ?

@Catch, if you care to comment about the way admins handle the bug thread (by PM), I will appreciate this.

I know this has been asked in the past, but we have conflicting opinions on the answers that Bort gave since he was a little vague.

The general data regarding this:

AA adjusts down on any loss (it's a bad play).
Auto adjust will not reduce anything down below 1. If it would, the adjustment value is changed to accommodate.
