This is the final build at level 79 for my running QB. Thinking of retiring next year and retrying the build. He's not doing as well as I thought he would. Not that elusive at all. Any advice for my next try?

Yeah definitely Retire.

Honestly you could use some brushing up on general building first. Make sure you are multitraining early into first season, and try to make sure you are not training things in bad ranges (bad ranges being anything above 35 till 48, then 55-60, then 65-68.)

Don't enhance any stat past 30%, just not worth it.

That said, if you are sure about going rush qb archetype, make sure you get throwing above 100 end goal, not enough throwing makes you an easy target for tagging.

The next one i make will be from a deep passer archetype. Enhance 10% strength only and cap it to 49 before boosting (go heavy for +2 strength), once boosted, dont train strength anymore , but start normal training throwing at 30% until you can afford to unlock mlti-train and enhance each at least to 10% before starting multi (i would unlock throwing, speed,vision, with 4th in agility). Keep using SP to increase strength to 78 cap, then throwing to 49 before season one end boosts. You can play your first several seasons with all throwing gear, and function like a normal QB, then about 4th season start swapping gear to speed and let the fun begin.

End goal cap i would suggest: strength 78, throwing 88, vision 84, confidence 68, agility 84, carrying 74, speed 86 (in no peticular order) .
