After leading his team in receptions, yards and touchdowns last year, Detroit Proletariat WR Austin McDougall now sits at #2 on the depth chart and is 3rd in receptions, yards, and TDs. We did an interview with the 3 year veteran.

Q:Do you think you should've stuck with your old team, the Nurnemburg Night Stalkers?

A:No. I never liked how their first WR got all of the catches and attention. The QB was good, but I didn't find the team to be active enough. I hear they are now in USA BBB called the Brooklyn Bagpipers or something. I'm pretty sure they're 1-7-0.

Q:Are you upset about losing your starting spot to Randy Trip?

A:Not at all. Randy is a great guy, and losing my spot is just a motivation to get it back.

Q:At the beginning of the season, you had a 61-yard touchdown catch. Since then you haven't had a touchdown. Thoughts?

A:I had a nice pass thrown from Chad(Kubik) our starter at the time. All I had to do was catch it and burn the DBs. Our new QB, Rick(Montana) is very experienced and he really throws the ball well, but he just can't get things going in the redzone and he doesn't throw to me as much Chad did.

Q:Do you think you aren't getting as many catches because of your teams new OC?

A:I'm a team player. Our new OC has lead us to a record of 3-1-0 since he took over. I haven't really noticed a huge decline in my catches, even against Jersey Shore.

Q:What do you think has contributed the most to your teams newfound success?

A:A lot of things. We have a new set of coordinators, a great new QB. We've really managed to work as a team.

Q:What matchup do you look forward to the most this year?

A:I look forward to playing the Huntington Zeroes. They seem to be well matched with my team.

Q: Thank you for your time, Austin.
