This thread ... wow. Great read for a late Friday afternoon!

Can't see the build any longer, but if you're truly serious about this being a fast WR I'd assume he's at least got 115 speed (with EQ but do not include VA bonus). If he's not there, his future prospects for being anything above a WR4-5 getting 13 reps a game are not good.

108 speed plus a few 'track star' VA's and some other secret ingredients to maximize his burning abilities.

I mean I understand that he's not THAT fast..

But he's faster than anyone else on the field in all of my games! And as long as I keep him on that level (he's also smart and cunning.. you guys so easily forget that. He's cunning. Sly. Elusive. He's.. number zero.)

QUESTION.

Input welcome: Tactics.

Should I run routes exactly as drawn up, or go for creative routes? Right now I have them set to run exactly as drawn up, simple physics he's not losing any speed or momentum, and his elusive thing set to 99 so he's quick but not zig zagging.

Natural speed is only ~ 83. If you truly want him to be fast you haven't finished putting SP into Speed yet.
Tactics - check with your OC. You don't want to be running against whatever offense he's trying to run (if at all).

Being the fastest dot on the field at that level doesn't translate to continued success. Sometime it just means the other dots are real slow.

The legit advice you've already gotten in this thread would be well heeded. You're obviously attached to this dot, but you'd be best served restarting the build for 2 reasons.
1 - Proper SP deployment and training to maximize the key attributes
2 - Starting the build in the offseason. By starting on Day 7 you missed A TON of offseason / preseason / early season training that is critical to a build no matter what kind of build guide you follow. There's simply no way to make up for the lost attribute gain AND lost BTs.

Speed, agility and stamina all contribute to maintaining top speed on a streak route.

Track Star and quick will also help out there. Depending on your fame and the competition you're lining up against, a vision penalty to a covering defender can make it appear he's faster than he really is. So Awe Inspiring or Underdog, again based on the fame of the defenders compared to your player.

Others tried to help you and you just returned to troll them...what the hell I will bite on this

!st off he is not that fast.
EX here is a HB(yea I know your guy is a WR..but just look)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2558960
The HB is only a level ..8 levels under your WR
Now the trick

Bo Jackson (Lv. 25 HB)
Ht/Wt: 5'8", 180lbs

Experience, Skill Points, and Cash
Money: $0
Daily Salary: $1548
Skill Points: 0
Training Points: 2
Bonus Tokens: 22
Veteran Points: 0
Next Level: 675/1000

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 27.76
Speed: 108.52 (+22)/...same speed as your Wr but with less equ in in(86 naturally your guys is only 83..something like 2o something sp value difference
Agility: 71.52...This HB has 4 more points in agility then your WR(agility is good to have for fast players)
Jumping: 7
Stamina: 21.76
Vision: 22.52
Confidence: 15.76

So speed wise you are slow.

You wasted about 14 sp dumping in sa's...so early...You missed out on a lot of the AGL's
You're best doing what sic posted

The first one you were not even covered, the 2nd is a play most teams run cause its hard to stop. I gurantee without even looking at your build, you are too slow
