If the blocker is 7 yards outside the initial ball spot then Outside Blocker will trigger. Play or position does not matter.

Question Super vision has been described as it only applies when playing defense - not offense or special teams. Yet, it's strangely absent from all the exclusion SA lists, unlike things like blitzing SAs that are clearly defense only and only available to defensive positions. Is this an oversight on the exclusion list, or is it going to do something on offense/STs now? Can it either be added to the exclusion list or can we get a description of how it affects offensive positions?

Answer Special teams tacklers can still use superior vision to avoid fakes.

Is it "read" by the QB when factoring in who to throw to? Does it work on defense?



#1 - No limits other then those imposed by the VA's themselves.

#1 - just the design of the SA's themselves. Some were meant to work in conjunction with VA's.

#2 - people are free to do with as they wish with weight and height. So in that regards, we're quite satisfied. If it means the majority of people do one thing, then that's fine, but just because there is a perception that one thing is the only way to do something does it make that perception correct.

April 2, 2011 Question How does the 5 yard qualifier on the dump pass SA work? Is it 5 yards from the LOS or 5 yards from where the QB is located?

Answer From the y location of the QB. The x location doesn't matter; just the vertical.

Why do some suggestions get a vote after a couple of pages, but another suggestion that is just as good, get ignored?

Will GLB ever consider LolCasual to be equal to the regular leagues? There are agents in there that spend lots of money. And they always feel like the redheaded stepchild. Our money is the same color as some of the babies in the World League.


#1 - We will probably eventually seed tournaments based on roster EL but no idea when we will implement that.

#2 - It's a matter of what moderators/Admins deem worthy of being put up for a vote. If you have a suggestion that you think should be considered for a vote, contact a Moderator and they will put up an inquiry in the Mod forum as to what GLB/Admins think. Just because some users think a suggestion is good does it mean it'll get put up for a vote.

#3 - I'm pretty sure GLB does not feel Casual is lol Casual. We love our Casual agents and do what we can to keep them satisfied. That being said, we're going to keep Casual exactly that... casual... so suggestions that try to increase the complexity of the Casual side of things are not going to happen. If it makes sense though, we'll definitely consider it (as we have often in the past).

2nd Part of the question

If you get two different situational VA's, do they get to use the numbers of the other situational VA?

Example: Red Zone Freak (RZF) and Prime Time Player

Both are maxed to 15

Player WR gets the roll to activate RZF and the player is in end zone to catch the ball. The player started off with 70 jumping

Does the equation go like this?

Jumping Score = 70 + (70*.05) + (73.5*.6) = 70+3.5+44.1 = 117.6

or

Jumping Score = 70 + (70*.6) + (112*.05) = 70+42+5.6 = 117.6

or

Jumping Score = 70 + (70*.05) + (70*.6) = 115.5

OT Killer is situational only in that it can be active in a limited time period (end of 4th quarter when within 7 points and OT).

There is no limit to the number of VA's that can be applied on a play other then the +75% limitation to +% modifiers we put in place a while back.

1. We are satisfied with the defensive formations we have. Bort's long said that he will not add any further custom depth chart slots.

2. No idea. We can't play the game for you but I would suggest studying what works and doesn't work and adjust accordingly.

3. We played around with it but it created a few complications. Still might add it at some point but at the time there are no immediate plans to do so.

4. Nope, we're done there.

It's just a chance to activate, not always on. The SA could probably be reworded better.
