Have a question you want answered about anything regarding GLB? Ask here and we'll do our best to answer it for you. We will keep this thread open until 1/12/2012 and then will lock it up so that we can get the questions answered.

Rules of this thread are simple:

1) All forum rules apply

3) Keep it on topic. Ask a question and wait for your answer. This is not an opinion thread, nor is it a place to question/attack other users.
4) Show respect to users asking questions. We want this thread to be a resource for users and a place where they can come without fear of facing forum trolls and personal attacks.
5) General Support related questions (i.e. general game play questions) should still be directed to Support. If I see questions of that nature, I will direct you to contact them.
6) Asking when we are going to add a feature to the game is not really a question. It's a question veiled as a suggestion. If you have a suggestion to make, please do so in the Suggestions forum. We will not answer these types of questions.
7) This also applies to issues that you perceive are broken. If you think this is the case, you need to take it to the Bugs Forum.
8) All off topic posts and questions will be deleted in order to keep the thread organized and focused solely on the questions.
9) Please limit the number of questions you ask in a single post to 1-2 and the total number of questions you ask. If you abuse this, we may not answer some or all of your questions.
10) In general, most sim related questions will be answered by Bort. If I do not personally answer your question it's because I am going to pass it forward to him for review and to answer. It will generally take 1-2 weeks after this thread has been locked before those questions will be answered.

#1 - if player goes into Zone, then Ball Hawk will work. If he does not, then it won't.

#3 - No.

Not a bug is one that is easily determined to not be something that is broken by a Bugs Moderator. The other is for issues that have been through the Bugs system and determined either by verification by Bugs Moderators or by Bort/myself that the issue is not a bug. We're going to be revamping the Bugs system here sometime in the next 6 months I hope and those subforums will become obsolete.

At one time, we used testers and the test server quite extensively and there was discussion regarding this testing. Now the majority of the testing is done by Bort and myself and there is no need for transparency since users are not testing (which was the reason for that forum in the first place). If you have a question regarding a sim change and the testing that was conducted on it, you're more then welcome to post a thread in there and send me a link to the thread and I'll be happy to discuss it.

It recalculates to 100% no matter what numbers the user enters so the values you enter do not technically matter.

Really only one needs to be completed before we go out of Beta and that is Player Achievements. Hopefully we'll be able to get this done by the end of season 27.

All SA's work as their description says they do. We will not be buffing/nerfing any SA's unless something becomes imbalanced in regards to the sim. Just because you think a SA is not doing anything does not mean it is not.

Not going to answer all your questions - I will submit the pass interaction ones to Bort and answer the above. The remainder you will have to ask at the next Q & A.

E) Had more projects we wanted to get done before doing so. Things like the Preset AI's. Main reason, however, was the switch to accelerated player development. Didn't want to go out of Beta with shifting league structures every season.

F) We're satisfied with how SA's and VA's work. As is always the case, however, if we determine something is causing an imbalance we'll make changes (see last season's VA changes as an example)

G) We're at a point where we won't be making any major sim changes other then to fix bugs and/or exploits.
