Well I can tell you that support will not release you. You are stuck in the contract. My question is what age are you? I try to avoid dealing with children here since there is not age requirement specifically because of the whining that comes along with them. To be honest, your player sucks. MVP's belong to seasons past along with the ability to build an MVP. This game changes way too often not to adapt. Coming from someone who had to deal with a problem with a WR last season, I can say that it pisses the powers that be off when stuff like this arises. For some reason, the younger the agent, the more important they think their player is to the team. It is this whole new generation of kids with a sense of entitlement. Man I long for the good old days. The kids that complain on here are the ones that got punched in the eye on the playground and ran home crying to mommy. There is absolutely no difference between them other than the kids nowaday dont leave the house.

Everyone is ripping the agent here but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Even though his effective level sucks, no one would ever sign to be below two players they substantially out-level. Still, even if Trock is 100% right, he was never going to get anything positive out of handling things this way.

I would advise Trock to take the high road, put his equipment back on and to ride out the contract.

Hence why I always go with one season deals until I feel I'll be happy with the team.

The whole point of this game is FUN , if the agent and owner are at logger-heads then surely the 'adult' thing to do here is TALK and find a way around it.
The owner needs to unblock him from PMs and meet the agent half way, imho.

I did a little experiment and removed all the equipment from one of my level 32/34 dots, and guess what... his effective level didnt change. Why dont you open his build so we can see the quality of this dot? If he's as good as you say he is then it only helps back you up. What about PMs from him promising you a starting spot, do you have any of those? You still get max XP just for being on the roster, so you are not losing out on anything critical by not playing as much as you would like. Worst case scenario you miss out on some enjoyment of watching him play.

Looking at this from the outside and only seeing your side of the story there is a little bit of doubt in my mind. I have only run in to this situation once in all my time on GLB. I never took it public though. Your avatar, you choice to use dot names to push you political views and now this decision to smear a dot in a public for all tell me that you are an agent to avoid. Just because you built MVP dots in the past doesn't mean they would be MVPs now. The sim changes every season. What was a good dot then could be a crap dot now.

The problem is we have no clue what the previous PMs were like. IF Trock whined, screamed and/or made threats in his PMs then why wouldnt he block him. If he did the same in the forum then why wouldn't he block him from the forum. I am not saying or speculating that he did, I am just saying. Yeah, it sucks to be stuck in a contract you hate, but there isn't much else you can do about it. The adult thing would be to get released and part ways, but at this point I dont think that is going to happen.

having been on both sides of this type of situation I can identify with both the agent and the owner. I sent both Trock and Pirate a PM offering to help if I could. I was thinking maybe I could make a trade to give trock a change of scenery and take the headache off of Pirate. I asked if I could see the build in a PM explaining that I might be able to help and never got a response after it was read. Pirate hasnt read his pm yet but Trock read it yesterday and still hasnt responded. Makes me wonder though....you think he would have jumped at the chance to get off the team.

I've owned/helped run teams for a long time and I tend to have more sympathy for the player/agent in this situation. As an owner, the best thing you can do with an unhappy player/agent is to release them right away. Don't worry about the chemistry hit, just get them off your roster.

Obviously, these people have a problem. Doesn't seem like they will ever come to an agreement. The owner, even if he is right, has nothing to gain by keeping this guy on the roster but banning him from the forum. Just let him go, release him.

The names of your players alone would make me not sign you. Then there is the little factoid that your TE's build sucks and you blame his suckiness on not having your EQ on which anybody who has built one dot knows is a lie. You're not really endearing anyone to yourself or your plight here. Maybe that has something to do with why the Owner is so annoyed by you that you're banned from PMs and forums.

You kinda strike me as a whiny misguided fool.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
