The Niagara Stingers, a Canadian AAA team, was bought out earlier today. The team was moved to Ottawa and renamed the Eskimos. Rookie team owner Ewokduder has stated, "We hope this drastic change to cause a surge in our players, and drive us to a championship and possibly a promotion into the big leagues."
The former Stingers are currently 4-3 and are sitting at 7th place. The new owner goes to say "Our lukewarm performance so far isn't good enough, and I know we can do much better in the future" He also says to expect a roster overhaul in the coming days.
