…the Bastard Sons of Doug Flutie were originally called the Ottawa Owls in CPL Season 1, and weren't labeled Bastards until Season 2. (Season 1 was a more liberal time apparently.)

The Bastards were a competitive team in CPL until they were demoted for Season 15, following a dreadful 0-16 record in Season 14. They bounced back though, going 13-3 before losing in the first round of the Season 15 playoffs. In Season 16, they had an undefeated regular season but again, got bounced in the second round of the playoffs. (Not a playoff team, apparently.)

The Bastards made it back to CPL for Season 17, where they've been ever since.

let's just call them the BESTards and move on

Judging those 3 teams, I see it as:
Porto - since S16
MEM - since S17
Bastards - since S17
