NHG V ReDisturbed
These two have proved that they are the best in Alpha this season by far. This is #1 V #2 just how it should be! When looking at this game the first thing you notice is the defences...these are 2 of the best defences in the league and I'm sure this won't be a high scoring affair. Last time NHG managed to grind out the win, 13-3 but only 350 yards were put up between them. So I think this one will depend on who gets things rolling on offense. RD seem to have the best chance of doing this with the #1 ranked offense in Alpha but it didn't go so well last time against NHG when they only scored 3 points! This is a real hard one to predict, I think turnovers could be key and a ST TD would be huge. But I'm going with RD here, i think it's time Akinghorn's team win a trophy again since S22. They have a much higher EL than NHG and a slightly better offense and ST unit. RD win 13-10 with a ST TD and last min FG.
Dark Nightmare V Rome Regenades
Both these teams are coming off the bak off GREAT wins! RR just beat 4 times defending champions MNTF and DN beat a scary ECT side. It's all coming together nicely at the right time for DN at the moment. Both the teams they lost to in the RS are now out and they're playing well on both sides of the ball. RR looked like they were going to have a mediocre season, going 13-3 with a 2nd round play-off exit. But then they beat the unbeatable! Now we will see if they can keep the momentum going. What I will say is, if RR win gold then they definetly deserve it! Beating MNTF, DN then either RD or NHG has got to be one of the hardest PO runs ever! However I do think DN will take this one, last time DN won 39-13 and I think the score will be similar again but with DN scoring less. DN are just a bit better on O and D, and with the homefield advantage I think that will be enough. However RR did prove that they could do anything with that last win, so I think they also have a good chance of pulling out a second upset in a row.But DN win 23-13
