Nerd Herd Gators V Rising Brownies
It's time for thr Brownies to show us what they are really made of! After beating a good Panama side they now face a play-off veteran in NHG. Interestingly NHG's only loss this season did come to Panama, the team the Brownies just beat. When these two met in the RS, NHG came out 24-7 winners but it was actually a very close game and th Brownies did out gain NHG. I think the key in this one will be how the Brownies do offensively...they haven't lost this season when they've scored more than 14. Against NHG's top defence the Brownies might find it tough to score, but we'll see what they can do. I have to go for NHG in this one, I think it will be a defensive battle but that should suit NHG.NHG win 17-7
ReDisturbed V Bus Drivers in the HOOD
In round 1 RD weren't to impressive with only a 1 point win over UD, on the other hand HOOD were very impressive with a solid win over RMO. These two did battle it out in the last game of the season with RD winning 44-7, they did get some help from ST's so I don't expect the score to look anything like that this time round. I still like RD to win this one, it's a massive ask to turn around a 44-7 loss just 2 weeks later! I think RD are just a little bit better in general and that should be enough to win it when you add it to their home field advantage aswell. RD get back to business with a 24-10 win.
MNTF V Rome Regenades
Will it be 5 is the question on everyones lips!? Rome are the next unlucky victims who have the massive task of stopping MNTF! The worrying thing is MNTF are usually better in PO's than in the RS, and they usually go 13-3 or something...not 16-0!! I'm sorry to be boring but I really only see one winner here, I would like to predict a huge upset but I really can't see that happening. RR are a really good team themselves, only losing to MNTF, ECT and DN this season. But they've had two shots at MNTF this season already, losing 48-10 and 59-6. RR just can't seem to find a way to contain MNTF's offense and they haven't managed to score more than 13 points against a top team so far this season except for a scrim against Panama. MNTF will dominate, 41-10
ECT V Dark Nightmare
Possible the biggest game the second round, between two of the most successful teams behind MNTF over the seasons. Could this be the year for one of these two to take over as the dominate team? I've got a feeling that this one won't be too close but one team will control the game, but I'm not sure who it will be! In the RS ECT won 19-6 in a very tight game. In Dn's last competitive game they looked really good against RR winning 39-13, whereas ECT struggled 16-13 against RR..maybe an indicator on how the two sides are playing as they come into the PO's? I really don't have a clue who's going to win this because these two are very solid in every area, it will probably come down to who gets the tactics right! So i'lll just have t back my team DN win 27-7.
