You need to be able to have two running backs be able to split carries so if you have two awesome running backs, they can both get an equal amount of carries.

you can do this... the default energy settings should pretty much do this now... the only difference is their stamina--if your two backs have widely different stamina levels the one with more will always get more carries

Or how about making a package for each HB, then in your AI where you just have your 1 run package, split it up into two, putting them at 50% each or w/e.

Yeah, there are in essence THREE different HB slots on the depth chart (HB, HB1, HB2). Just make sure to assign them in your AI appropriately.
