Not sure if this has already been suggested, but if there is a way to have an alert message on the homepage that indicates a new post has been added to the team forum and maybe showing how many, it would be a beaut.

I get enough alerts as it is. Its fairly easy to look at the forums page and look for the new icon.

Thought that would make you second think it a bit

Think it would be nice to implement an option that would allow forum alerts to be separate from regular alerts along with the option to select which forums.

Also the possibly of selecting what types of alerts we would like to receive in general.

But not mixing up the suggestions, focus on the initial one if the combined suggestion is a bit much.
