Since the PLT and TLP forums aren't set up well for lower ages, the forum should be a sticky or subforum in the actual age group.

those forums are 95% worthless... they should just be gotten rid of in favor of the marketplace (which, too, needs some improvements)

Yeah, but sometimes teams don't know that they need to improve. A good well placed ad can do wonders.

Currently there are plenty of people who just post ads in the league forums, and while there ad gets moved, their dots also get signed.

It would be better to have a sticky or a subforum within the league, and warnings/bans for players that violate it.

TBH, players who knowingly/ignorantly break the rules are at an advantage because they are advertising where owners are actually looking.

my point is that it would be a better use of programming resources to consolidate all the recruiting stuff to one place and make that one place something good for team owners and agents, rather than create a third channel.

If you want to control where people advertise their dots, eliminate the PLT and TLP forums altogether in favor of marketplace. Then you can penalize it all you want.
