We should have the option to use more advanced player tactics with input similar to the DAI. Essentially, let us choose our tactics based on down/distance/field position/score/time remaining. This would more closely resemble play style in real football.
For example, a DB will play differently on 3rd and long (wrap up and medium/loose) versus within the 5 yard line (semi or aggressive/balanced). The defense also plays more aggressively when their team is behind at the end of the game and more safely when they are winning at the end of the game.
On offense, blockers could change style based on whether they are more likely to pass or run and rushers can go power on short yardage plays but elusive on longer distance plays.
