Im not sure if this hasnt been suggested already but there should be a way to tag your qbs in the casual league as rusher and passer. From what I have been told there isnt really anyway to do this 100% right now. One of you might just tell me why it wont work and im fine with that as well.

It would be nice, but it's a can of worms. Allow tagging of QBs, and then someone wants to be able to tag other positions, and then someone wants something else and pretty soon it's not casual anymore.

I'm definitely on the "let's add a bit more to casual, but still keep it so you can gameplan in 20 minutes or less" boat, but it's a slippery slope when starting to add new things. So, while I like your idea in principle, anything that adds new functions/features/depth to casual should be thought through as a "whole" and not just adding a new thing here and there.

To be honest, I suspect that it's already in there -- sort of. In the same way that you say to call "Run" plays a certain percentage of the time - it doesn't call a run defense on 3rd and 12. In addition to your basic settings, it also weights its decision to call the running play at the right time. I would imagine that there is also some logic already in there to use your QB spy settings at the right time, too. None of the casual teams I work on have ever had a hard time stopping a rushing QB if I get the spy settings right. And on the same account, if they have a rusher and a passer, my passing defense doesn't suffer if I set the QB spy settings correctly.

I agree on keeping it minimal which is the point of casual. It would be nice though to have a few things to adjust like being able to use or stop a rushing QB properly.

Problem with that is that everyone who plays Casual has one or two little things they want to see implemented. If each of those things get done suddenly Casual isn't any different than regular. Keep Casual as is with no changes.
