Once agility and speed are set on an elusive back, what attributes are going to help you get through the line so you can break a long run and don't get tripped up by the line? Vision to help see holes and avoid tackers? Strength so you don't get tripped up by your shoelaces? Carrying? Etc. Please rank in order of importance as I'm on my first HB and am clueless.

For an elusive back...

Carrying > Vision > Strength

I think vision is overrated. Mid 60's is enough by end build.

I prefer Speed > Agility > Carrying > Strength > Vision

I think people like vision because it can make your EL higher but not necessarily a better back.

Do not listen to house's vision talk. 68 at a minimum, and 74 should be gettable even with getting strength to 68. Everyone to their own though, but I disagree.

Stamina is the elephant in the room not being mentioned that should be mentioned if you want to continuously make these types of breakouts.

Don't listen to Sonic's vision talk.
55 minimum, 65 maximum.
You'll want strength in the low 70's, especially since your bread and butter is the spin SA.

We've seen dots with 78 vision, 72 vision, 68 vision, 62 vision, and 55 vision, and they all run the same. HB's don't seem to hit the hole any better with vision past 55, and it only marginally helps fakes work, as a relatively easy vision check must be passed before a fake can be attempted.

Use your SP's getting carrying up much higher.

And I agree about stamina, I have higher Stamina then vision on my elusive back, and it's more effective.
You want to aim for 62 minimum stamina, with 68 being great. No real point in going higher than that for stamina because the points could be better spent elsewhere.

I have seen a PB with vision around 50 do pretty damn good. just sayin' .

At what point would you recommend leaving vision alone and letting it finish off by itself?

At what level have you seen these HB's have this amount of vision and how successful where they? I'm talking WL here, what are you?

Agree to disagree then. I have no hard data except my own players and I have had pretty good success with their current vision amounts. My younger HB's are going to have even less vision so I guess I shall see how they turn out.

I don't plan to put any points in vision this go around. I put vision on +%30 enhancement and plan to train only.

I've seen a few vision experiments who stayed in pro's, two WL HB's, and my own HB who is still in the pro's and hasn't hit plateua yet. I notice you have a HB in the WL on the E-city mercenaries. How has he been doing so far? Would you mind sharing his build as well?

Mine isn't an experiment. Check out my retired players.

Check out my HB on E-CIty's awards as they tell a story, and of how MVP and things like that are geared. It depends on what your building your HB for.

The new training and building methods have changed how good a HB can be, and raised it higher. Thus, higher vision. It is a major for an elusive.

I always open my builds when I retire my players. I'm not sure what his role will be next season and will have to discuss it with Disa as to what the plans are. Sorry, can't share yet.

Id have to agree with these two the most, but a lot of times for inside running your only as good as your line...

I capped vision 4th and left it at 55 for ALG's to do the rest, it's at 61 now.
