Agreed. There is no reason a team like that should be in the conference. There is no competition that can match them this season.

Looks more like both sides have one team that will beat everybody else with maybe 1 or 2 competitive teams on their schedule and meet in the championship. Montreal it looks like was in elite last year but they went 8-8

I wish this was the case... I was diagnosed with cancer and basically had a shit season. That is the only reason I can think my team was moved here. Don't want to ruin anybody's fun. Sorry for crashing the party. I anticipate as the season rolls on some teams stepping up to offer some serious challenges but I have been out of the loop and even my other team is run by friends I have made in GLB.

These kind of threads crack me up. Whatever team you're associated with had every opportunity to sign higher level players during the off season to prepare for the stout competition in Regional Pro and instead management chose to stick with what they already had. Don't complain because your ownership took the easy way out.

Also, there is only one Casual Pro league. There is not going to be room for every good Regional team that deserves a spot.

If the league did proper rankings (not based on last season's record) based on the current season's roster, each conference would be much more competitive. Why should a team getting into regional pro blow up their team of young, quality agents just to have one season's success when they get into regional pro?

If Infamous Robb Deep's reason is true, then fine. That is how it worked out. But I maintain that if the league properly sorted teams at then end of the previous season (after free agency), the conferences would be much more competitive. I din't have a problem with the Montreal Rulers, I have a problem with the ranking system. it is broken.

It can't be that hard to run a script to rank every team in a league and then assign each one to conferences. Games would then be decided on owners and DC skills rather than just difference in levels like most conferences are decided now.

BTW, the EL of the Montreal Junior Rulers is above most teams in Casual Pro. It not only ruins the competition for the weaker teams but they are going to roll everyone in the conference this season. There are two teams that may challenge them. Farham Warlocks and LA Vikings (I think).

Junior Rulers did not have to recruit anyone. The whole roster is owner players and they are almost all level 72. Having just moved up from capped to uncapped age we were not allowed to have any players level 72 from the previous season. Nobody can step up to uncapped and get a full roster of high level players. This team should have been placed into one of the 2 casual elite leagues instead. They were full of fully boosted players and would of been much closer in level to the Junior Rulers.

Who cares? We recruited our whole team this offseason and i feel we did a pretty good job. Worst case Montreal wins it allthen regroup for next season and put together a better group of players for the competition. It`s easy to blame everything else for you not winning it all but truth is you coulda tried at least.

How many players do you think are free that even half the teams would be able to recruit a new high level team. Just because you managed to find 42 high level players doesn't mean that 6 other teams could do the same. We cut many players and started recruiting before season 22 ended. We just couldn't get the top end players to sign. So don't go telling us that we didn't try. Recruiting still doesn't change the fact that Junior Rulers should have been put in Elite instead of Competitive level. That is what this topic is about.

I`m too lazy to check their previous season but obviously they didn`t do good enough for elite. I agree they have one hell of a roster and could very well be in there but they didn`t get the job done last season for whatever reason and now they are regional pro it`s how it works.
