Do power backs need vision with power running. I mean since they arent trying to be elusive and instead power run through everything do they really need high vision?

Well, you'd prefer to hit a hole so you can power through LB's and DB's instead of 70+ strength DT's.

I've found out the hard way this season that some vision is absolutely necessary, but I'm thinking 30-35 should be enough for a power back at the moment. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.)

Lv 17 CB & Lv 20 FS.

My 3rd string running back has 21.79 Vision @ 16 & I'll never put a point into again

You're crazy. Vision is more important for HBs than any other position. MAYBE FS can make a case.

My HB Greg Alstott only has 27 vision.

He does pretty decent and haven't felt the urge to bump it up quite yet.

I know elusive backs need high vision for hitting holes and making cuts. However Power backs i wasnt so sure about because they dont exactly try to cut into the holes, they just power through people and make their own.
