Also, I'm stoked to be back in a league with Calera. The first Newfoundland team had a nice rivalry with Calera in AA/AAA back in seasons 4-9. I think the biggest margin of victory was 7 points over that span

I remember you guys were the Owls back then correct?

We did have some smash mouth games back in the day.

That was in Canada AA then we all moved up to AAA???

Yeah, the Ospreys were actually founded as a farm team for the Owls, but the Owls got sold.

Our first game was in season 4 in AA, Owls won the regular season by 3 but Calera won playoffs by 13.
Calera won the regular season matchup by 1 in S5, no playoffs.
Season 7 Owls by 3 in the regular season by 1, no playoff matchup (not sure what league).
Season 8 Owls won regular season by 4, lost playoffs by 4 in AAA.
Season 9 was CPL and the Owls weren't competitive, losing by 24. That was the last time we played, and I think the Owls last season. So Calera leads the overall series 4-3, with a 2-0 playoff record

Looks like it's time for Newfoundland to even up the series
