Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 40 yds (touchback
Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 32.5 yds (touchback
Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 41 yd

Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 38 yds (touchback)

Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 25 yd
Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 31 yds (touchback)

Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 28 yds (touchback)
Punt by Ryan Hawkin, 42.5 yds (touchback)

40+32.5+41+38+25+31+28+42.5= 278

(278/8)=34.75

on my stats for the game is says 19.4 yds/punt

can someone explain how this works

Touchbacks just kill your average. When you get a touchback, the ball is put on the 20 yard line so it subtracts that 20 yards from your punt. It's not a bug or anything. Just how the game handles punts. I'm hoping that sometime Bort will implement touchback stats for punters so that punting stats can accurately show the actual ability of the punter.

why the heck is that team punting in half those situations? with the glut of Ks out there, thell you owner to get get one that can kick a 42 FG.

I was having a horrible time with touchbacks until I trained my vision up some. I still get them, but not as often.

+1. The touchbacks really killed my Season 2 stats. Our team was on a roll so I was happy with just 3 punts/game. It really sucks if two of them are touchbacks

A 42 yd FG is kicked from the 25 yard line. It's measured from the place of the spot which is 7yd behind the line of scrimmage to the uprights which are 10 yards past the goal line. So, +17 to the line of scrimmage for a FG.

still, how far is the punter behind the line of scrimmage? And he has to keep it within boundaries at about the one yard line is perfect. I'd rather use the kicker.
