Only a few more games to be played until the 2nd round is complete, so lets take a look at how things are going!

How is each league doing?

Prep Casual Elite #1- 14 teams remaining
Prep Casual Competitive #2- 1 team remaining
Prep Casual Competitive #3- 3 teams remaining
Prep Casual #4- 1 team remaining
Prep Casual #5- 0 teams remaining

It's not suprising that the elite league has so many teams through but that number will be reduced because 5 elite #1 teams still have to play. And 4 of them are playing each other!

Motor City Cats V Alpha Omega!

One of the games left to be played in round 2 is this one between two undefeated teams in Elite #1. Both of these two could end up champions in the end so this is an important game. However the winner will have to play ReDisturbed, who are also undefeated in elite #1, so that part of the draw is really tough! I think the team that comes through out of those three will have a good chance of atleast getting to the final.

Good Round 3 games?

You have to be a good team to get to the 3rd round so all of the games should be quite close but let me pick out some of the best ones!

Lower Mainland Screamin' Seamen V Newcastle Mountain Lions - The Lions are the only Prep #4 team left and this should be an even game as both teams are non-boosting. Can the Lions keep #4's hopes alive?

Darkness V Mustang Nation Touchy Fillies - Two elite #1 titans battling for a place in the 4th round. Both are very good teams and this one could go either way, will the Fillies be consumed by Darkness?

New Jersey Nightmares V LA Smackdown - Two more elite #1 teams, LA have the better record but the NIGHTMARES have improved recently and should make this one close! ( I hope anyway!)

East Coast Tide V Washington Insiders - East Coast look to be the team most likely to win outside of elite #1 to me! They've got a fully boosted roster which should be enough to beat the non-boosters of Washington. But how far can East Coast go?

Who will win?

At the moment my money is on Alpha Omega or ReDisturbed! But ofcourse I'm going to also add that the New Jersey NIGHTMARES will do well!

Who do you think will win?

I think Alpha will win it all. Mustang Nation looks to have a shot if they can improve what they did in a friendly against Alpha.

I think Alpha Omega, Mustang Nation, Motor City Cats and my own ReDisturbed all stand a pretty good chance. I don't think I've won a scrim against any of these teams, so I'm ranking our team 4th behind in that list. AO is my favourite to win it.

Wow..alpha omega was dealt their first loss (scrimmage ) last night. Motor city is now 1-1 in scrimmages this season with AO...the rubber match is tonight for the tournament game.

Talk about a hard luck draw...motor city, AO, redisturbed all right next to each other in the bracket.

Both in Coach's Cup and the GLB Tourny. Brutal.

All pretty tight among these four I would agree.

That was an excellent match. You are a tough team to matchup with as you can do many things well.

Cats have a passing QB, 2 rushing QBs, can rush without the QBs, can still pass efficiently. And the defense is even tougher - forced TOs and a lot of opportunities at a tackle for loss faced by us.

I look forward to the second straight tournament match today.

Good luck.

GG Alpha, I gambled on my defensive set up and it seemed to work ok but I couldn't do crap against your defense this time.

Turned out to be the classic turnover advantage in our matchups.

Take them out and we are really quite close.

Let us finish strong in our respective tournaments.
