I would like to say good-bye to the Lampang Lionfish. After a solid season that fell a little short of their goal they will be disbanding. How they got here > First ODB slapped #8 SAPL (42-13), then they controlled the #4 Boys (19-3), last but not least was the total destruction of #3 Lampang (48-7), SCM walked thru the #8 University (55-7), then shut down the #5 Great Whites (27-3), and shut out the #2 Playmakers (21-0)
Thoughts on the match-up> It all comes down to the #1 seeds from both conferences. These teams don't get to play during the season but are very familiar with each others team. ODB brings into the game the leagues #1 rushing attack. SCM brings in the leagues #1 defense. Neither team has disappointed in the playoffs in route to the title game. I wish I could say some bad stuff about ODB, but the owner is just too damn respectful, and I would feel like an even bigger fool than usual if I did. ODB is a class act and an example of how most teams should carry themselves, me included. There just isn't many holes in either team and this should be one hell of a datball game.
Prediction> Since my picking has gotten worse as the playoffs have gone along, I will have to pick against my own team in this one (13-10) ODB
