1st the good news. I heard from admin today and according to them I'm not going to lose my team. The bad news is I had a morale spiral last game versus Tapout and barely survived the game after being up by 21. I don't want to call it a death spiral because it only fell to about half or slightly below which I am told is a result of unpaid salaries.

Since cash has no value in pee wee why are teams held accountable for going over the salary cap. We can't put on promos nor can we add on to the stadium. Not to mention that cash is reset at the beginning of each season.

However there is a silver lining. Admin says they are working on the issue but they are undecided on how to fix the problem so hopefully this will be taken care of before the playoffs start. I said all of that to say this, I wouldn't advise owners to offer max salaries in the future until a defined solution is available that benefit all leagues including pee wee.

Edit
I was advised to cut some players but with only four home games remaining I wouldn't make enough cash to cover the deficit of my negative team cash not to mention pay the CPU salaries. It would be great if we could borrow cash in pee wee.

When you sign players, just make sure you can afford to pay it off. I'm pretty sure you can get away with being 1M over and able to pay it off with ticket sales etc. Over that though becomes shaky.

Why did you give everyone a max contract?

To get max morale bonus, not a new thing.
I would not worry about losing your team, PEEWEE gold teams have been doing that for a couple of seasons. Or at least that is what I have heard!
LOL, Stop worrying about your cash problems, things are all OK!

@ toy. http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3946717 : scroll down to running out of money and you will understand my concern of losing my team BUT once again i was informed today that i will not be losing it because this is an issue that they haven't encountered so as far as that goes i'm good. the issue now is losing morale in tough games from unpaid salaries. in which case my team will be a push over by the time the playoffs come around.

@ dead ed. like toy said but in hind sight a plus 10 in morale really isn't needed.

I know about the morale bonus, but if you run out of money you lose the morale bonus. So giving everyone a max will mean big morale bonus for the early season games and none for the playoffs. Gold teams don't give everyone a max.

Teams have run out of money before, you're not the first to give everyone a max contract. No one has lost their team though, despite what the link says.

Most Gold teams do exceed the Salary cap, but no Gold teams offer contracts that will expire their teams total revenue for the season. Essentially as DE so cleverly pointed out, those morale bonuses go away when you stop paying those guys that contract.

Be sure to account for the over-the-cap luxury tax you pay for being over the salary cap, and since the "lose your team" thing is obviously a myth, I wouldn't worry about the chance you may miss the playoffs and go ahead and account for that gain as well, since losing your morale bonus once you are out of the playoffs won't have much or any value really anyway.

Essentially spend every dime you have, but not a penny over. 1M over is an advisable safe-place, but I'm sure you could find a more exact value by just finding the Gold team with the highest Salary and copying them exactly, someone must have done the rather simple calculation required to find the exact amount by now.

Can't really find exact since concession sales have a random variable associated with them. You can get a pretty good idea though even just using your projected cash gains from the season + current cash. that's the total amount you'll have and then you can figure out the actual amount you can spend in salary there. Stoner is right though, 1M is a pretty good number fwiw
