I see most guys are up over 70, I've had success with mid-fifties. What are the thoughts on this? Do you need carrying to be over 70 to be "successful"?

In the higher leagues like Pro and WL most def yes. I would suggest 80+ as well as a not fumble % piece and some cover up. Even then you aren't 100% safe but it will help.

81 carrying and 1 Not Fumble AEQ does the trick. Anything below that and you're mired in the lower tiered leagues.

I disagree with getting AEQ for fumble avoidance, as that's a bit overkill. Just go high carrying. You'll still fumble, yes, but quite frankly you'll still be let into the Pro's as long as you're scoring good return averages and TD's. A little fumbling is what you sometimes get with an excellent return man, as they're the ones who invested the most in CoD, speed, spin, you name it.

ReMeDy what do you suggest for AEQ then? My plan has been RS BT BT and fumble avoidance?

If a returner is prone to fumble, it doesn't matter how many big returns he gives you. He's a liability, pure and simple.

Maybe about 5 Cover Up as well if you want to play in WL. In pro you're fine with 80 carrying + the one NF piece.
