I think most try to keep quiet in elite leagues because they are afraid if they talk shit their team will face extra scrutiny when it's time for their opponents to game plan for them. They try and stay under the radar.

This is not going to be a very interesting season for our team due to our age and SP compared to the rest of the league. I don't want to bitch, don't expect to win much, and can't talk trash, so I have nothing very interesting to say. I'm just lurking around here waiting for some interesting dotball discussions to happen. Been disappointing thus far, but no one signed up just to entertain me.
