Hellas Hoplites vs. Washington Slashers
The Hellas give up over 100 effective level points to the Slashers, but they are the ones that did the slashing yet yesterday to Washington, had it not been for that game (lolpreseason) I would have called this a close game leaning toward Washington.

51st State Pirates vs. Dayton Blackhawks
We suck, but I can't pick against my own team (see Pete Rose)

North Texas Timberwolves vs. St Marys Broncos
Not only is Texas giving up over 150 on the effective scale, one of the agents (half the team) is inactive. I am going to have to go with the Broncos to get a W in the column to start the season.

Plainview Bulldogs vs. French Connection
The Bulldogs go back a long way, I remember playing them in WE sometime ago, but this team at this point is in pretty bad shape. The Connection are pretty young (even for this league) but they seem to have it together, so they caulk one up here.

Dallas Outlaws vs. Texas City Storm
Outlaws in a landslide, not sure what the Storm are doing but they can't even keep the scores close. The Outlaws would have a higher matchup if they actually put the K on the D chart instead of the P.

Uinta Wolf Pack vs. Manila Killas
Let's just say this isn't going to be the closest game of the week.

Athens Odyssey vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders
Odyssey has a pretty close set of players, the Roughriders however have everything for CPU to level 40 to level 73. This is probably going to be close, but we'll go with Odyssey and take it over the team that looks like a dart board recruited for them.

The Royal Madcows CPU vs. Gulf Coast Crocs
No contest here.

Indianapolis Inferno vs. Trenton Golden Hawks
WOW, this is the closest game so far I believe. Indy has the most players here, both have had their moments this preseason, Trenton has the higher effective level and better chem. Really could go either way, but we'll stick with Alpha.

Dublin Irishmen vs. Dayton Raiders
Another nail biter, lol, not

Birmingham Beavers vs. Gotham Crusaders
The Beavers have a solid young team, and the Crusaders, well they don't. Probably CPU players are better than nothing but Beavers still win this.

Melbourne Mighty Hawks vs. Odessa Panthers CPU
Early win for the Hawks.

Fiji Ventures vs. San Diego Lightning Chiefs
Fairly good match up here too, but Fiji edges and they are not in lolzeta.

The Good Hugo, The Bad Hugo and the Ugly Hugo vs. Moose Jaw Fightin' Hobos
Nothing to see here, move along.

Rio de Janeiro Speedwagons vs. South Bend Rhinocopters
good game here, I am getting tired, so we'll just say Speedwagons win because they are Alpha.

Kangiqsualujjuaq Komatik vs. Valhalla Fighting Danes
Danes 4-0 preseason, Komatik 0-4 preseason, lolzeta, alpha wins this one too, lol

Thanks for doing these. They make for an interesting read and will, hopefully, start spawning some trash talk.

well, I expected the win but not the score tbh considering how bad our chemistry is.

K Nigel Grough is the MVP in Trenton's close-fought victory over Indianapolis - he boots SEVEN field goals in this contest

I think the Slashers only have 44 players, hard to be effective like that. Thanks for the writeup.
