Congrats to all of the playoff teams, a little write up for your enjoyment.

In the Western Conference its going to be a battle to get to the Championship game. Mount Holly holds the #1 seed but they had a recent loss to #4 Empire Records. Paris finished 1st in the overall rankings but lost to Mount Holly early in the season. The rest of the conference has been beating up on each other. Dots are not going to be enough to win in this league, you are going to have to earn it.

In the Eastern Conference its a whole different ballgame. Tulsa is the clear favorite with the next closest team 3 games back. In fact the closest anyone came to Tulsa was a 24 point loss and if the rankings hold true that team, the Boondock Saints will face off with Tulsa in the 2nd round. 2-8 in this conference also beat up on each other so each game should be a good battle. I have not followed this conference as closely as the West but I will do my best to make predictions.

Calgary Destroyers @ Mount Holly Militia - Mount Holly handled Calgary pretty easily early in the season with a 54-7 victory, holding Calgary to just 47 yards with a relentless D. The only score for Calgary was an INT for a TD. Mt Holly was on cruise control up until week 15 when they lost a heart breaker to Empire Records but came back with a win vs Danbury to end the season. Calgary's offense has struggled this season and facing Mt Holly wont make it any easier on them. Mt Holly wins easy 42-3.

Prodigies of Pakistan @ Paris Smexies - While Paris wound up as the #2 seed with their only loss against #1 Mt Holly, in the rankings they were the top choice. Paris had kind of an under the radar season with their early loss to Mt Holly leaving them low in the rankings and each week shooting up the charts. Prodigies had somewhat of a tough season, coming up empty against every playoff team except Danbury and Calgary. Paris won by 70 last game and nothing shows that the game will be any closer, Paris wins easy 66-17.

Danbury Demons @ Empire Records - These 2 teams played a wild one in the middle of the season with Danbury pulling out the victory with a 21 point 4th quarter. Empire enters the playoffs on a 6 game winning streak including a huge win over Mt Holly in week 16. Danbury has kind of had an up and down season. Some big wins against the 3rd and 4th playoff seeds and losses against the 2nd & 7th in which they lost big. This should be another tight game. No Prediction as this is my team.

Sudan Saints @ Newfoundland Roughnecks - The Roughnecks started out like gangbusters rattling off 6 in a row before a slip up against Danbury. They were a top ranked team all season and maybe they let their guard down a little as the season went on. Sudan was sitting at 8-1 and then the wheels started to fall off when they played the Roughnecks in week 10. They went 3-4 down the stretch. Sudan did win the last 2 must win games so maybe they are back to where they need to be. The last game was a lot closer than the score, a few PR for TDs really helped the Roughnecks blow it open. If Sudan can figure out their specials they can make a game of it. The Roughnecks find themselves in a dogfight but pull it out 23-10.

Turin Colonels @ Tulsa Storm - Tulsa handled Turin pretty easy during the season 80-3 and ranks 1st in O and D. Turins strength is their passing game and they are going into a tough situation. With the changes to the sim lately, passing lanes have opened a bit but Tulsa is just too much here and win 61-10.

Southeastern Empire Pirates @ Asylum Maulers - these 2 teams just faced off last week with the Maulers winning easy 53-7. The Maulers have played tough all season, only losing to the very best. The Pirates have been blown out when they have faced the better teams in the league and they rank in the middle of the league in both O and D. The Maulers win this one easy again 66-7.

Lacey Raptors @ Boondock Saints - Boondock was hurt by their out of Conference game loss dropping them to the 4th seed. that one game cost them the second seed in the playoffs. They didn't have it easy but won the close games they needed to. Last time these 2 teams faced off, Boondock pulled out a 10 point victory scoring the last 27 points. Lacey had a solid season not really get blown out in any games, but unlike the Saints, they lost some close games they should have won including the last times these 2 teams played. If Lacey can protect the QB they have a shot here. Looking at the season for both teams, I think Lacey can pull out the upset 27-24 on a late TD.

South City Chiefs @ Windsor Wildcats - These 2 teams faced off mid-season with Windsor running all over the Chiefs with 270 yards on the ground in a close game. the running game proved to wear down the Chiefs D as Windsor scored the games last 14 points to win 28-13. The Chiefs are better against the run than they showed in this game. The Chiefs stop the run and pull this one out 23-20 in an upset.

GG Lewk, GG Danbury. Ortiz and Pussy tore it up in that game. Also had some big FFs. Good luck against MHM.

I was ready to throw my laptop in the first quarter, i didn't think it was going to be close. You have a great team, that KR in the second half turned things and Rey Ortiz was a man on a mission.

I was celebrating after the 1st half. Then Ortiz just changed his game. Stopped him easily the 1st half, then he just ran through everyone the 2nd half. 2nd time this season you guys tore my defense late in the game.
